I can barely even touch my toes! Where should I start? Whether you have been practicing for a while or you’re brand new to yoga, you will benefit from our beginners class on Wednesday’s 10-10:45am. Yoga is not solely about the posture! This class focuses on proper alignment, connecting to the body, and becoming becoming familiar with your practice.
Help! I typed in the address and ended up at the country club! No worries! Sometimes Google says that’s where Red Rocks Physical Therapy is. Red Rocks PT is located between the salon and the brewery between Union and Templeton Gap Rd. If you still have trouble finding the studio, give us a call at (719)322-1651. Katie can help you navigate to the correct location.
What should I bring with me? We suggest wearing comfortable clothes, bringing your own yoga mat (although there will be extra mats at an additional cost if you forget, or don’t own one), a water bottle, and a maybe a towel. We offer blocks, yoga straps, blankets, towels, and chairs if needed!
What does proper yoga etiquette look like? Please leave your phone in the cubbies outside the practicing room, arrive 10-15 min. early before class starts, and tell your instructor of any injuries or possible pregnancy. Your safety is a big priority, so informing your instructor of any sort of injury before class starts will help you receive the most from class. Stay for Savasana! Practicing Savasana at the end of each practice helps the practitioner soak up all the physical and mental work of yoga. Reply "Namaste" at the end of class, if you feel comfortable. Namaste means, "The divine in me respectfully honors the divine in you" and is similar to saying "thank you."
